Ian Grant

At Gold Pan Pottery, we are also fortunate to have Ian as our part-time potter. Ian brings his own unique throwing technique to our studio, resulting in some truly fantastic pieces of practical art.

Ian's throwing technique is a blend of traditional and modern methods, and he often incorporates unique design elements into his pieces. His work is both beautiful and functional, and he takes great care to ensure that each piece is crafted with the highest standards of quality.

Ian's part-time schedule allows him to explore his passion for pottery making while also pursuing other interests, and we are grateful for the contributions he makes to our studio

Studio Supervisors

Our supervisors are the lifeline of the studio. They each have a specific roll that joins the whole team together.

Mia

At Gold Pan Pottery, we have a very important member of our team - Mia, the studio cat manager! Mia takes her job very seriously, and she is in charge of quality control. Mia inspects all of our finished pottery before it goes out to customers, ensuring that each piece meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.Mia takes her role as studio cat manager very seriously, and she takes great pride in making sure that each piece of pottery is inspected thoroughly. She has a keen eye for detail and can often spot even the slightest imperfections in a piece.But Mia isn't just focused on quality control - she also brings a sense of joy and playfulness to our studio. Her presence helps to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, and she is always happy to greet our customers and visitors.

Leia

At Gold Pan Pottery, we are fortunate to have another talented feline team member - Leia, the studio cat production manager! Leia's primary role is to make sure that our artists don't fall asleep at the pottery wheel.

Leia takes her job very seriously and keeps a watchful eye on our artists as they work. She is always ready to jump into action if she sees an artist getting a little too relaxed or distracted. Leia is an expert at keeping our team focused and on track, and she is a valued member of our studio.

But Leia isn't all business - she also brings a sense of fun and playfulness to our studio. Her energy and enthusiasm are contagious, and she is always up for a game of cat and mouse with our team.

Katya

At Gold Pan Pottery, we have yet another talented feline team member - Katya, the studio maintenance manager! Katya's primary role is to ensure that our equipment is constantly inspected and maintained to the highest standards.

Katya takes her job very seriously and makes sure that all of our pottery equipment is in top condition. She inspects everything from our pottery wheels to our kilns to make sure that they are working properly and efficiently. If she notices any issues, she immediately alerts our team so that we can take care of the problem before it becomes a bigger issue.

But Katya isn't just focused on equipment maintenance - she also brings a sense of calm and serenity to our studio. Her peaceful demeanor and gentle purring help to create a soothing atmosphere that our team and customers alike appreciate
